Cleaning up the orders |

Hi all
I'm new to this site and have created two logos so far (I have created many more, but not here).
For me it is rather difficult to find orders that still apply. First orders that appear are from April and I found teams in the orderlist, that do not even exist anymore. Others have received a logo by now from someone else.
I find this site quite a good idea. Especially the way you can pick an order to work on. I'd like to suggest:
- to clean up orders too long back
- to enable designers to edit/delete logos that he/she has uploaded
- to enable to view/reopen finished orders. For example to edit a logo.
What do others think?

I don't think your 1st suggestion is good because there maybe designers that are still waiting till now for their logo till now.
As for your other 2 suggestion I strongly agree with, because some designers have mistakes in the logo they do and then upload the "fixed logo" in as I tell the logo orderers to send be a mail.
But these suggestion has to be put in front of the administrator (Kintzi). I already made another suggestion [ http://www.ht-logo.com/view_topic.php?id=13 ]. But the administrator doesn't seem to be here, but try your luck to send him a mail. |

thanks for answering! Yes, you may be right. Still, I can hardly believe that orders from April are still waiting. Either the teams do not exist anymore, or they have received another logo or they have forgotten about their order.
Since every orderer leaves their email adress, it might be an idea to send a mass mail to all members that have put in an order before date xy and tell them to put in a new order if the logo is still wanted. After that delete all those orders.
I find your suggestion that you mentioned a good one also. :-) |
